Through last year, I was a middle school teacher of students with special needs. This year,I elected to take some time off from full-time teaching to attend to personal matters, but I would love to work with individuals or small groups of students to help them with their school work. I am highly qualified in middle school math and language and have a great deal of experience in modifying lessons or using alternative teaching methods to help students grasp new concepts. I prefer to use a hands-on approach when possible.
