My name is Pedro, and I am currently a junior studying Communications at MUW. My native language is Spanish, as I am originally from Caracas, Venezuela, where I graduated high school and spent 2 years in Andres Bello Catholic University, one of the best in the country. Writing is a hobby and a passion for me, and so I handle the Spanish language quite better than the average Hispanic. Regarding my teaching experience, I was a student tutor for over 2 years for the Department of Languages in my university, as well as on my own for 4 years, including in high school. I was also an exchange student here in the US during my last year of high school, and I attended several MUN conferences in the US during my college years, in which public speaking, speech writing and negotiating skills were stressed to the max. I won the award for Best Delegate during the NY NMUN 2011, one of the most prestigious UN models in the US.
I do not believe in the "one-size-fits-all" philosophy. Not every student is the same or has the same needs. As a tutor, I will always make sure to adapt to your needs and to your level, working with your materials as well as with mine until we reach the goal. Be it Spanish tutoring, English tutoring, writing, or oral communication and skills, I will make sure that you or your student learns all the necessary tools and information to not only get through any situation, but to do it with flying colors.
