My name is Ryan. I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Coaching Education. I am currently working on a teaching license to become a full time teacher. I am substitute teaching part time to help prepare me for the future, I have been doing this for over 3 years. I would like to teach science and coach, but I am open to try all subjects. I have always wanted to become a teacher and coach for as long as I can remember, and from the elementary to the high school level the two come hand in hand. I think coaching is just another form of teaching, it just incorporates sports. I plan to try and get certified in everything I possibly can, so that I will able to offer more services. I am almost always available, and would be willing to work the best time possible for the student.

Elementary (K-6th)

I have been a substitute teacher for about 3 years, and I believe that I have a lot of the knowledge that would go into to teaching this age group, I would feel comfortable giving lessons. I am more than willing to work with younger kids, and I am willing to take the needed steps to learn everything I need to be the most effective.

General Computer

For the most part I have a general knowledge of computers, and could teach some skills to those who are in need. I am not in high end items, but I have the skills needed to run a computer a large number of programs.

Soccer

I have coached a lot of soccer mostly youth, but some high school as well. I would be more than willing to pass my knowledge on to others, and try and improve skills and game knowledge. As stated before, I have taken classes to coach and would like to continue coaching. I am grateful for every chance I get.

Basketball

Coaching basketball is my number one passion. I love sports overall, and would like to coach a variety, but basketball is my first option. I have taken classes in college to coach basketball and have been a part of the sport for the better part of my life either playing, watching, or coaching. I am would be more than willing to help coach any sport that I am comfortable with.

Baseball

I have taken coaching baseball classes while in college, it was a part of my degree program. I played in high school and I was a student assistant during college, and I have coached some little league programs ranging from tee ball to high school.

Chess

I have played chess for years, and love the game. I was on a team while in school and would love to be able to teach the skills to another, or just share a game to better skills

Tennis

I like to play tennis, I am able to coach it. I have taken classes to gain more knowledge on how to do so properly. I am always trying to learn more about the sports I coach and play.

Softball

I am able to coach softball, and would be willing to do so. I have been around softball and baseball and coached both.

Praxis

I have to take the Praxis tests for my teacher licensing. I have books and practice tests for this subject, and would be willing to help someone prepare for the test.
