I absolutely love helping students that feel that they have difficulties with any math subject. I specialize in Algebra and above but my favorites are Algebra II, Trig & Calculus. I have tutored many students one-on-one, bringing their grades up from B/C range to A's & B's. I have taught beginning math classes at the local community college and have volunteered to help in the math lab, which I truly enjoy. Overall, I believe that math is not a difficult subject, it's just the way it's presented that makes it difficult. I have lots of examples from former students of how they changed the way they thought about math to a more positive feeling. I am qualified to tutor Linear Algebra because I have a two year Math degree which requires Linear Algebra in the coursework. I also taught Linear Algebra at the same community college where I took the course. I have used the concepts taught in this course many times and consider it one of my favorite sections of math.
