I recently graduated from Washington University with a BS in biomedical engineering and an MBA. Upon graduation, I elected to start my own business, making the next generation of smartphone software technology. I specialize in math and science tutoring, but I also have been tutoring verbal sections of standardized tests with great success since 2009.
I've been an independent tutor for two years and have had many students in subjects ranging from chemistry to finance. I have tutored chemistry for multiple students, finance for two students, statistics, the GMAT, and even physics.
So how do I do? I can tell you that I'm very personable, a great tutor and am very knowledgeable in the subjects I teach. But why should you believe me? Don't. Here are some of my testimonials:
"The tutor we had didn't just care about the student's grades but about the student himself and worked toward improving confidence."

"In short: it went great. My GMAT score went up 120 points! My tutor Chris was great at helping me develop an effective GMAT test-taking strategy and polish my quantitative skills. His tutoring did wonders for my score. The first time I took it, I got a 590, but 4 weeks later, I was able to score in the top 8%! I was definitely happy with the price I paid, the great customer service I received, the tutor I got, and the score I achieved in the end. I am always happy to recommend [Chris] to anyone looking for a tutor at Wash U. You're running a great business, so all I can say is thanks!"
