Hello Students!

I am a 32-year-old female teacher with a bachelor's degree in education. My experience in teaching includes the following: one year of high school band, choir, and algebra; three years of middle school literature, math, and music; four years of ESL, literature, grammar, and math (in China).

I enjoy teaching many levels of math and do so by using questioning and encouraging you, the student, to think for yourself. My goal with tutoring is for you to not need me after our time together. I have always loved math and really want others to love it as well!

I also love teaching music. As a trumpet player and former band director, I enjoy helping others with the theory side of music but also with the passion and enjoyment side of it. I have taught music for grades 6-12, with a special emphasis in instrumental music.

I would love to meet you to see if we are a good fit for your learning needs!

Thanks for considering me!
