American History
American History tells us the history of the United States, its economic story, and more. I have experience teaching US History at several school levels and am finishing up my MAT.
Elementary (K-6th)
I have extensive experience working with elementary school students, both in GEN and SPED. Substitute assignments have involved working with all matter of students.
Further examples of the type of work I did as well as letters of recommendation are available if requested.
European History
European History is the study of the history of the continent of Europe, its origins, and how it has related to the rest of the world throughout the centuries.
Especially important are the growth of cities that allowed certain countries like England, France, and Germany to dominate their neighbors. European culture has also spread throughout the world, so how and when did this start to happen?
French
The study of French involves not just the knowledge in study of the language but knowledge of French history, culture, and customs, which is quite familiar to me due to my background in history.
Macintosh
I have passed Apple certification as a Apple Sales Specialist and am readily able to detail my related work as well as retake the test if deemed necessary.
Furthermore, I have been using Macs since 1991 and have extensive knowledge of nearly all aspects of their operation.
Public Speaking
I have experience in public speaking due to the many presentations that I give for my classes in college and graduate school.
I am also in the habit of giving presentations on topics at conventions around the country, both for entertaining and educational purposes.
I have recordings of many of these performances for your consideration.
Religion
The study of history is quite often the study of religion. Being proficient in history has often let me to seek out knowledge about religion and its history as well.
Social Studies
Social Studies is the study of history's effect of society and how it affects such societies positively and negatively.
I also have experience working in classrooms with middle school students, traditionally marked as social studies classrooms.
Letters of recommendation asserting this as well as relevant written papers are available.
Sociology
I feel I'm qualified to tutor in Sociology due to the numerous classes I've taken on the subject. Having a background in history often involves study of sociology, peoples and cultures. Examples include the concept of McDonaldization and McWorld. Reference letters are available as well.
Tennis
I have been playing tennis since age 6 and have been part of my high school tennis team. I have participated in tournaments and study the history of the sport, to the point that I am well versed in each area of the game.
Video Production
I have expertise when it comes to video production on the Macintosh due to have passed Apple certification as a Apple Sales Specialist and am readily able to detail my related work recommending and describing what can be done with familiar programs like Final Cut, Aperture, and iMovie.
Furthermore, I have been using Macs since 1991 and have extensive knowledge of nearly all aspects of their operation.
I also have numerous video examples of my work and can also detail the steps that went into each video's production and the techniques involved within the programs.
World History
World History is the study of the history of the world, its origins, and how it has evolved throughout the centuries.

There are innumerable topics to cover in historical studies and I'd like to think I am capable of covering nearly any subject or particular topic.
