So you're looking for someone to help you out with your upcoming test or project? No problem. I've got your back.
I'm a professional biologist with ten years of international research experience. I've published in ecology, evolution, molecular biology, statistics, geography, public health, science philosophy and modeling. I have considerable experience in writing across genres (including scientific reports, journalism and essays).
I've taught for three decades, from summer camp level through post-grad. I've taught lecture courses of 500 students and tutored one-on-one. All levels, ages and skill sets. I enjoy helping students reach their scholastic goals, whatever they may be.
My tutoring philosophy is simple. Every student is different, as is every project. We will work together to figure out the best way to get *you* to master the material at hand. I have a variety of pedagogic tools in my kit--writing-to-learn, concept mapping, peer review, etc.--but it's all about converging on which of these will click best for you.
We will work hard, but we will have fun too. I aim for a relaxed *and* results-based learning experience.
