My name is Lindsey. I am undergraduate student at Wayne State University studying Communication Sciences and Disorders. My career goal is to obtain my Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology so I can become a certified Speech Pathologist! I specialize in Speech (articulation/phonics) and language(vocabulary) for all ages. In my spare time I volunteer at a speech and language clinic to gain experience and extend my knowledge. I am also a Reading Corps mentor, there I tutor children enrolled in the DPS school system to help improve their reading level. At Wayne state university, I was a member of the Girls Varsity volleyball team. I just recently ended my fourth and final season. I was the libero for the team and specialize in training defensive players, with also great overall knowledge of the game. I am u12 volleyball coach now! Overall, I am super energetic and very positive. I love to have fun and help others in any way I can. I am passionate about my career and about the sports I have played. If you have any questions please contact me! I look forward to working with you!

As an undergraduate student pursuing speech and language pathology, I've had much experience with phonics. I have taken phonetics, where I have learned all about the English sounds and how to use it appropriately. I have also taken a class called phonological disorders. This shows you the patterns that are typically made at sound level and had given me the tools to diagnose it and has taught me proper techniques to correct the delay/disorder.

I am currently an undergraduate student at Wayne State University studying Communication Sciences and Disorders. My goal is to obtain my Master's to become a certified Speech Pathologist. I am currently in my last semester of studies and have received concrete knowledge in linguistics, phonetics, language, phonological disorders, children's language and speech, speech disorders, language disorders, normal language, audiology and neurological disorders. Currently, I am in my clinical practicum where I have been assigned patients and have carried out therapy lessons on children with language and speech disorders.

I have played Volleyball for almost 10 years. I'm honored to have had the privilege of attending Wayne State University on a scholarship for volleyball. I was the starting libero for 3 years and obtained honors: Second Team all conference, All tournament. I am also a volleyball coach at Michigan elite academy.
