I am an experienced teacher of French at all levels - primary, high school, college and professional. I have provided French tutoring and group classes that improved students academic achievement and assisted them and others in understanding the French culture. I majored in French and Spanish at Wayne State University and traveled extensively in France during that time. My masters degree work included a French immersion program through the Université de Quebec à Chicoutimi. Upon completing my masters degree, I was an adjunct professor of French at Oakland Community College for 9 years. I taught grammar, conversation, vocabulary, French literature as well as many aspects of European and French Canadian culture. In addition to teaching these college classes, I privately tutored a variety of students. The love of French language and culture motivates me to energize students to grasp a full appreciation and use of French.
