Albert was always going above and beyond what a tutor should do, very informative, sensible, and patient. Always punctual and I felt he really wanted to get me the "A" so to speak, very intelligent explanations and has a gift to teach! Bravo!
Albert replied on 7/14/2013:
I like to thank you for the kind words. Tutors and teachers are as good as the students they coach, mentor, and facilitate. In your case as a registered emergency nurse, you save lives and we as educators we change lives. Our great expectations are to succeed in what we do and do it well. I certainly appreciate your feedback and kind words about me. As a teacher, you recognize the commitment and dedication required from all of us to make a difference in people's lives. I have been privileged and very grateful in meeting you and your son and being able to help as much as I can.
Thanks so much,

This man is a researcher of math websites, and not much else. He will NOT take you step through any math problems. He will find a website that has a problem like the one in your homework and show it to you. He expects you to put the lines together and draw the answer. Now you are forewarned.
Albert replied on 3/26/2013:
Some of the best web sites are accessed to substitute for the lack of definitions and application of concepts. This is particularly true whenever books are not present. In your case, the flow of material augmented by exponential and trigonometric functions and tables were needed to structure the appropriate approach.
You were under pressure to proof read answers so that they are submitted as soon as possible. Points are deducted because of manual errors. You recruit a tutor to explain the process and not to check for manual errors in dozens of exercises for two weeks. The appropriate approach is to get you ready for the test and not to check for manual calculation errors. This is the most productive cost effective learning in academic life.
I grouped intentionally all of the assignment exercises and test exercises of the same functions for flow purposes and while one checks for the assignments also discusses the assumptions and definitions for the scheduled test. Sorry about the misunderstandings but you need to learn how to use tutors with caliber effectively and one focal point.

Mr. M. provided a great tutoring experience for our son who was taking a challenging statistics course during his first semester as a college freshman. Our son reached out to us about midway through the semester stating that he was beginning to feel like he was having difficulties in his class and that it would only increase through the end of the class. Our son went to the math tutor center located on campus but was unable to find assistance for this specific class. After a long search we found Mr. M. and despite the distance he was able to meet at later times to accommodate tutoring sessions. Our son told us after each session he felt that he was truly beginning to understand statistics on a level that he had not yet found prior to working with Mr. M. Our son gained a confidence to feel that he was learning something based on the manner in which Mr. M. worked with him. Albert made himself available directly to our son as needed. He was very patient and provided materials to assist in lessons between tutoring sessions. I would highly recommend Mr. M. as a tutor for statistics on any level because he is able to connect the material to the student in a very patient and meaningful manner! I truly feel blessed that we found him and will be forever thankful that he was not only willing but very capable as a tutor!
"Great ability to make statistics manageable!"

In September 2012, I enrolled on-line in a Statistics Class for Social Studies as a registered nurse. It is a mandatory class and initially had a great deal of fear and anxiety dealing with a highly complex subject area especially after being away from Math for several years. This class required weekly practice exercises, assignments, and quizzes interfacing with the scheduled MyStatsLab.
I decided from the very inception of the class to hire a tutor if I wanted to pass and learn the practical application of statistical concepts. After screening and checking, I came across WYZant Coaching, Tutoring, and Teaching and from the credentials listed, I was fortunate to select Albert M. He has proven to possess unique talents, skills, and teaching experience in Statistics both as a professor and highly qualified Tutor.
Mr. M has proven to be a very reliable, dedicated, and knowledgeable instructor who not only transformed my anxiety into a positive learning environment but made me apply statistical concepts to real life situations both at work and personally. Results indicated a very prudent investment that ultimately paid off several times in completing the class and requirements successfully. I highly recommend Mr. M as a subject matter expert in statistics and math. You will never regret it.
Albert replied on 10/25/2012:
Thank you for the time and effort you took to send this feedback despite the tight schedule you have in raising three adorable children, working full time as a registered nurse, and being an excellent hard working dedicated student and nurse. Statistics is a highly complex, intense, and demanding subject area in both critical thinking and efforts. Your ability to grasp concepts and apply them in real life and health care management is second to none.
A teacher, a tutor, a coach and mentor are all as good as the final successful results of their students working collectively in a collaborative interactive team environment. This has been the case in this mission.
I need to congratulate you for meeting successfully the university's class requirements and achieving your personal objectives with tenacity and perseverance.
Wyzant appreciates the opportunity for being of support to you in this endeavor. Thanks

In May 2012, I enrolled in a Statistics Class for Social studies with SPSS at the University of Michigan. It is a mandatory class and initially had a great deal of fear and anxiety dealing with a highly complex subject area especially after being away from Math and Algebra for several years. The class was both online and onground.
I decided from the very inception of the class to hire a tutor if I wanted to pass the class and graduate as a registered nurse. After screening and checking, I cam across WYZant coaching, tutoring, and Teaching and from the credentials listed, I was lucky to meet Mr. Albert M. with unique talents, skills, and teaching experience in Statistics both as a professor and highly qualified Tutor.
Mr. M. has proven to be a very reliable, dedicated, and knowledgeable instructor who not only transformed our anxiety into a positive learning environment but made me like the application of statistical concepts to real life situations both at work and personal. It was a very prudent investment that ultimately paid off several times in completing the class successfully with a B and completing the requirements ontime to graduate. I highly recommend Mr. M. in any subject area that requires math, sciences, and particularly statistics. You will never regret it.
Albert replied on 7/26/2012:
Needless to mention your drive, dedication, motivation and persistence in completing this graduate statistics class successfully. The subject area is complex enough and SPSS makes it more difficult to comprehend. You did it your way.
I commend you for a job well done and please don't hesitate again to call me at any time. You gained the well deserved friendship and wish you good luck in all your endeavors.
"Review For Albert M."

I'd like to say that Albert M. is one of the best tutors that I have ever had in my life. He very well knows his subject. He explains the subject in many different ways until the students understand. He is very patient, have a lot of respect to his student, and I, being his student was very well prepared for the exam and passed it with flying colors. Anyone who wants to have him as teacher or a tutor, would never regret making that decision.
P.S. Thank you Albert
Albert replied on 7/3/2012:
Thank you very much for the opportunity for being of service to you during the several weeks of this math course which has been very extensive in accounting and finance. I had to take a graduate level statistics course to complete a online masters degree in psychology. I knew that I would need hands on instruction in order to be sucessful in the course. Fortunately I was able to hire Alber M from WyzAnt. Albert is extreemly knowledgable in the area of math and statistics. We had to use a specific software (SPSS)to produce data output files. Albert was familure with how to use the software and produce the data output files.
Albert made himself available to me each week, so that I could complete the assignments on a timely basis. Albert taught me a great deal about statistics during the completion of the course. I was able to earn an A in the course. I would highly recommend Albert as a tutor for any subject involving math and statistics.
Albert replied on 7/5/2012:
You dedicated your time and efforts with diligence and energy taking this last statistics class with SPSS for getting your master's in criminal justice and psychology. Your performance was outstanding listening carefully to my mentoring, coaching, and tutoring with strategies and methods. Your fear and anxiety were overcome and you began enjoying statistics for real-life applications. You ended exceptionally good with an excellent grade and learned to like these mysterious quantitative academic studies.
Congratulations for a job well done and good luck!
