My credentials are a blend of twenty five years of experience in management consulting services and twelve years of academic credentials on a part-time basis teaching both graduate and undergraduate classes in the schools of business and management, technology infrastructure and business information systems. These credentials in industrial management and educational services accomplish two objectives. The first is to foster and create a dynamic learning-centered environment by sharing real life experience, accelerate knowledge, and learning by doing. The second is to sustain the leading-edge best practices in technologies and key performance indicators and promote business readiness conducive to workforce productivity and global competitiveness in a global economy.
My experience in management consulting includes rendering professional services to Fortune 500 corporations from Coopers & Lybrand, Ernst & Young, Cap Gemini as a senior, manager, and principal in consulting. I held a number of management positions in several organizations as a manager of business intelligence, director of management information systems, assistant to the CEO in operations management,and project/program manager.
My education experience encompasses twelve years from 1999 to present at Wayne State University, Walsh Community College, and Lawrence Technological University. I have been with the University of Phoenix since June, 2004 teaching most of the on-ground and on-line graduate and undergraduate classes in the schools of business, information technology, and business information systems. My accomplishments to-date include Lead Faculty, Best Faculty of The year, and most recently received the Advanced Certified Facilitator in August, 2011 from the University of Phoenix. Core teaching competencies include statistics in business, economics, and social studies, business research, operations management,strategy planning, and project/program management. I have been tutoring students in business research, statistics, math, Microsoft project software and Visio since 2009.
The academic education is during the years (1965-1971)at Wayne State University in Michigan. The undergraduate was a Bachelor's in Math and Physics and a Master's in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences. I have earned a number of professional certifications in Project/Program Planning and Implementation (PMP), Management Consulting Services (CMC, CPTM), Apics Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), and as mentioned earlier Advanced Certified Facilitator.
In summary, my technical tools and proficiencies encompass the entire Microsoft Office Suite (2007/2010), Microsoft Project Software in all project management planning and scheduling classes, Vision in business processes and flowcharting, SPSS and MegaStat in statistics, MyMathLab for hands-on practice in math embedded in stats classes.
