I can help with your high school science problems, your ACT prep, or your elementary/middle school academic classes! I earned B.S. (at MSU) and M.S. (at U of Wisconsin) degrees in zoology as well as teacher certification (at U of Wisconsin). I have taught biology and zoology at the college level, and biology, chemistry, and physical science in high school. I have also worked in science research. After a time as a stay-at-home mom to my now-teenage children, I currently work as a substitute teacher in a K-8 school and as a tutor. I volunteered with children as a recess supervisor, cub scout den leader, and boy scout merit badge counselor. I consider the education of children to be vitally important, and I enjoy being around children. So I love teaching and tutoring young children and teenagers. The one-on-one teaching during tutoring gives me the opportunity to use games, models, and demonstrations to improve understanding and make learning more enjoyable. I find that tutoring provides more success and satisfaction for both student and teacher. Let me help you or your child learn!
