How to write an essay is our objective for this class. Using the photos as writing prompts, students are to break up into small groups of twos, brainstorm and discuss the content of the photos. The students are told nothing about the photos and have to make up details about the photos. Students will create an essay about one of the photos. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to write an essay with correct structure. (remembering that ”...no one skill or system is ever taught separately. They are all bound up together in an integrated lesson in the classroom as they are in any natural usage of the language.”)
