Hello! My name is Jessica W. I have been tutoring and teaching for approximately a two years both as a private tutor and as a teaching assistant. I have an educational background in Political Science, History, Spanish, and Latin American Studies, as well as English as a Second Language (ESL) from Miami University (Oxford, OH), where I earned my B.A., and the University of Chicago, where I received my M.A.

My teaching expertise encompasses bilingual (English and Spanish) elementary subjects, and social sciences (history, politics/government, geography), language arts and literature, including ESL, and Spanish language for grades 6-12 and university levels. I have a great passion for learning and believe that with the right approach everyone can excel at a subject. I have a degree in Political Science and Latin American Studies from Miami University as well as a degree in Latin American Studies with specialization in sociology and political science from the University of Chicago.
