My name is Rachael, and I'm a substitute teacher in the Jackson area and held a teaching certificate from Massachusetts. I am currently working towards my certification in the state of Michigan.

I majored in Medieval Religious History, and minored in French. My teaching certificate is for grades 5-12 in history. I don't believe in one hard and fast rule for working with students. Each student is different, and I tailor my style to that which works best for the individual.

Sewing

I am able to tutor in both basic and advanced sewing machine techniques - including clothing, drapery, and decoratives. I am also able to work in cross stitch, and basic embroidery. I have been sewing clothing for 15 years, and have made everything from basic one seam skirts to medieval garb for shows. I won a full scholarship to college based on my creation of an entire show worth of costumes.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
