I have always been interested in helping other people learn. I did very well in college, at law school, and in an MBA program. My written and oral communication skills are excellent, and I can be very detail oriented. I have studied French and Russian at the college level, and have traveled abroad extensively so I have learned how to communicate with people from all walks of life.
I am very patient and understanding when others are having trouble with a skill or concept. My church has a tutoring program with which I have been very involved. The students are usually from inner city or failing schools, yet not one of them has failed to improve with my help and their hard work.
I have also had the opportunity to work with migrant workers from Mexico, and with my college Spanish, and their eagerness to learn, we managed to communicate well. I love helping other people learn and try to make it fun, while also achieving the students' goals.
