Elementary Science

Elementary science involves learning about our physical world by observing an object or event. We then analyze any data we have obtained and organized. We learn to recognize characteristics of the object, and identify similarities or differences. And then, we communicate what we know by giving oral or written explanations, or graphic representations of what we have observed. I can help the student with all of these techniques.

Study Skills

Study skills are strategies which are critical for obtaining good grades, and for learning throughout life, and in the workplace. Study strategies include remembering information, effective reading techniques, and how to take notes well. I can help with these techniques. I will also help with encouragement and positive motivation. These study skills will also increase the student's ability to study for, and pass exams.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
