Math - If you hate math, I can probably help you a lot. If you like math, I can still help you. Mathematics is somewhat sequential in its foundation. I'm pretty good at identifying what you do know about math and building on that to guide you into increasing your mathematical abilities. Practice is essential to improve your performance (in math, in sports, in music, in writing, etc.) and solidify your understanding of relationships. Once arithmetical skills are mastered, practical story problems help to refine logical thinking.

Sports - I have a major in Physical Education and a minor in coaching. I was in the football program at Michigan State University. I can help you evaluate your realistic goals and guide you into exercises to sharpen the necessary skills to achieve those goals. I can help you focus on strategies, positioning and anticipation of events that will increase your effectiveness.

Music - I have a degree in music and worked as an entertainer for over twenty years. I can help you with theory, application and performance tips.

Creative writing - I have written poems, short stories and songs. I can help you express yourself in these areas whether it be happy, sad, funny, descriptive, narrative, etc.

I have taught Excel, Word and PowerPoint at Northwestern Michigan College and in adult education programs. I worked for an oil company over four years. While there, I imported data from a UNIX environment into Excel via SQL in VBA. I wrote extensive and complicated programs and macros in Excel to massage the data and generate custom reports. I'm currently working for an organization that requires me to do similar work. By using Excel, SQL, VBA and macros together, I automate processes to enable anyone to get the specific data they desire.
