My relational, results-oriented tutoring style focuses on helping "you" achieve the results "you" desire by understanding and adapting my tutoring to "your" personal learning style.

First, and foremost, my primary interest is "you." My goal is to bring out the best in "you." I want you help "you" excel. All I ask from "you" is "your" commitment to be a learner. My experience in tutoring spans over thirty years and dates back to my high school years. During my high school years, I began tutoring my peers in writing and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the results they were achieving. I continued on tutoring college students and even graduate level students in all aspects of writing their papers and reports. During my college years I served as an undergraduate teaching assistant for two semesters. I graduated from college and graduate school with honors. I have also coached business professionals in business writing skills over the course of my over 22 years of work in the marketplace. I'm also certified in writing, grammar, vocabulary, and proofreading.

Vocabulary

I am certified in vocabulary. After having completed 8 semesters of Biblical Greek and Biblical Hebrew language studies, I became extremely proficient in English vocabulary and proper word usage. I have coached high school, college and graduate level students, as well as business professionals, in vocabulary and proper word usage in writing their papers and reports.

Grammar

I am certified in grammar. Grammar has always come easy to me, dating back to my elementary school years. I have always received excellent instruction in grammar from my teachers and professors. After having completed 8 semesters of Biblical Greek and Biblical Hebrew language studies, I became extremely proficient in grammar and syntax. I am certified in English. I have been helping students with English since I was a high school student (1972-1976). My proficiency in the English language continued well beyond high school and onto college and graduate level students, as well as business professionals. I have always been sought out by my colleagues to help with their English related to their writing projects.

I am certified in proofreading. I have been proofreading student's papers and reports since I was a high school student (1972-1976). Religion

I earned my Master of Divinity degree (96 credit hours) from Michigan Theological Seminary in May 2010 with special emphasis on practical theology (religion). I have been teaching the Bible to adults since 1986. I have studied systematic and biblical theology for seven semesters. Baseball

I have competitively played baseball from ages nine through seventeen. I have experience playing any infield position, excluding catcher. My batting average in a 16-18 year old league was .300. I hope to serve as an assistant coach for Haslett High School's varsity baseball team.

Bible Studies

I earned my Master of Divinity degree from Michigan Theological Seminary in May 2010. I have been leading Bible Studies for adults since 1986.
