I have over ten years of experience in corporate finance and accounting, five years of experience teaching middle and high school students, and two years of experience teaching basic and business math as well as Algebra. I am patient with my students and use "real world" activities and projects to guide them in understanding the subject matter.
I believe students learn at different paces and should be allowed the opportunity to progress at the rate that is most beneficial for their learning. I also believe the students learn in different ways, some by auditory some by visual, others kinesthetic. All in all, educators should know their students well enough to know how they learn best. I take the time to do that.
