I have experience in the Academic Arena as an adjunct professor for 17 years teaching economics, finance, accounting, and management at Madonna University, Central Michigan University and Henry Ford Community College.
I graduated with honors from both Eastern Michigan University with a Master’s Degree in Finance and Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
I am a successful Entrepreneur having owned companies involved in cable television, internet services, telephone carrier services, main frame software services, as well as restaurants, real estate, retail, and manufacturing companies. I successfully directed 2 public offerings, 30 mergers and acquisitions, managed three corporate turnarounds, raised more than $300 million in funds, and managed over $300 million in investment portfolios, achieving a 26 percent return over a 10-year period. I currently own and operate one of only ten Investment Banks in Michigan as listed by Crain’s (see attached) and assist clients with developing strategies (writing Business Plans and creating Financial Models) to raise capital to fund corporate growth. I currently represent nine Clients (see attached) in the Capital Markets in an effort to raise a $36 million.
Over the past 13 years, in the course of serving my client-base, I have developed relationships with over 10,000 private equity fund managers, venture capital firms, strategic investors, hard money lenders, financial institutions and private investors – all of which have requested the opportunity to review and potentially invest in my clients’ funding opportunities.
With my extensive experience and expertise in Business and Teaching at the University level I will be a very effective Business Teacher!
