I am an experienced Spanish-speaking professional, and I am comfortable working with students of all ages, using Spanish-learning techniques geared toward the individual level of the student. I have extensive international experience, and believe that a deep understanding of different cultures provide unique insight into the learning of any foreign language. I also have two young bilingual (Spanish/English) children, and my wife and I enjoy speaking Spanish to our children on a daily basis.
While living and studying in Japan, I worked as an English teacher at a progressive English immersion school. My students included all ages and professions (high-school students, company executives, housewives and retirees) - and all language levels (beginners to advanced). While living in Chile, I was a private tutor to a number of Chileans who wanted to improve their English. I also developed a unique language-learning website and podcast, based on principles and techniques I used when I was learning Spanish.
