I have been a public policy adviser for nearly 20 years, requiring knowledge of quantitative analysis and an understanding of how the levers of government operate. I took algebra beginning in 5th grade and scored an 800 on the math section of my SAT (and 790 on the similar section of the GRE). I especially love algebra, as it provides a solid foundation for important aspects of business and life for years to come.
Additionally, I won writing awards at my college for political science term papers and have subsequently advised governors, legislators and other senior officials on making wise policy decisions. I recently served as budget director in one of America's largest and most fiscally distressed cities, so I understand how to achieve success under pressure.
I have a passion for helping students enjoy learning about the subjects I teach, and I look forward to sharing this passion with your family.
