I'm a native speaker of Arabic, and Iraqi dialect. I graduated from the College of Arts in Baghdad, with a major in English language and literature. I worked as a translator and interpreter for an American organization, and for the US Army. During these two careers, I occasionally and unofficially taught Arabic. Working as a translator made me aware of how languages interact with each other. That enables me to teach Arabic well. I would appraise myself as a very good Arabic language instructor. Adding to this, I have an excellent command of Arabic grammar. I don't claim to have a professional portfolio or a bunch of Arabic-teaching textbooks, but I know for granted that if you show me your textbook, I'll make it a piece of cake for you.
