I'm a former teacher. I taught Kindergarten for eleven years. I have also taught first, second, and third grades.
I have a master's degree in Early Childhood Education. I loved teaching Kindergarten! They want to learn and are curious about everything. It is fun to watch them discover something. I believe children learn through play. There is a place for the more formal lessons, but learning should be "hands on" and fun.
The subjects that I enjoyed teaching were Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. I taught elementary math skills, but it was not my favorite subject. I have lots of teaching materials that I can use to teach your child.
