Hello! My name is Deanna, I am a 23 year old college student looking to help students out in various science and math related subjects!

In December of 2011 I graduated from Madonna University with a Bachelor of Science in biology with a chemistry minor, as well as an Associate of Science in pre-pharmacy.

I am currently attending pharmacy school at Wayne State University but while I'm not in class, I am looking to tutor middle school and high school students in science courses! I am very passionate about the sciences and have spent my free time working as a tutor at Madonna University aiding students in anatomy and physiology, microbiology, organic chemistry, and quantitative analysis. As of recent, I decided to make this account to do private tutoring of middle school and high school students as well.

A little bit about me and my background: I grew up in Canton, MI. I graduated from Canton High School in 2008 where I was part of National Honor Society (11th and 12th grade), Girl Scouts (K-12), Canton Chiefettes Pom-Pon, and Mid-American Pom. I also was a dancer for 8 years taking classes in tap, ballet, jazz, ceccheti, pointe, and lyrical. Dancing will forever be one of my passions!

While in National Honor Society in high school, I enjoyed completing my service hours by tutoring students at Pioneer and West Middle School. I enjoyed tutoring these students because I could see the results of my work when the students would be excited about understanding a topic, and also doing well on tests! Although this was not a paid position, I learned a lot from this "job" and it had led me to want to continue tutoring throughout my undergraduate career, as well as now, while attending pharmacy school.

Please feel free to contact me if interested in speaking with me; my resume is also available upon request. Looking forward to meeting you!
