Civil Engineering

I am a licensed Civil Engineer in the state of Maine with over 22 years of experience in the field. I am proficient with structural, environmental, and transportation Civil Engineering. I currently tutor and oversee work of new graduates in civil and structural engineering.

Elementary (K-6th)

My vast understanding of math, sciences, and English,as well as, many other elementary classes subjects; in addition to my long continuing educational career and over 22 years of experience in the field of civil engineering, qualifies me to teach any elementary subject between K-6th grade. I am very patient with students of all ages and have a teaching method tailored to suit everybody.

Volleyball

I have been playing volleyball since I was 7 years old. I have played on many different teams throughout my life including school and college teams. I also played on intramurals and co-ed teams which include males and females. I am currently the captain of my men team in the Lewiston Maine league. I have served as a referee for many games. I also have tutored many people in understanding the rules of volleyball in addition to physical play. I love to tutor people in volleyball as it is one of may passions.

Approved Subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet certified in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
