My name is Darrin and I am available for Math Tutoring Services within a 20 mile driving distance.
I am an accomplished high school and community college mathematics instructor with 11 years of total teaching experience covering topics that include Elementary Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II with Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, AP Statistics, Finite Mathematics, Linear Programming, SAT-PSAT-ACT-GRE-PRAXIS Preparation, and more.
I hold a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Rutgers University's Graduate School of Engineering (my graduating GPA was 3.5). I also hold a BA in Mathematics from the University of Delaware (where my graduating rank within the Mathematics Department was 4th out of 18). In addition, I have spent the last 20 years deploying mathematics-based business solutions for many of America's finest companies -- AT&T, Lucent Technologies, NCR, IBM, Panasonic, Hershey Foods, Johnson and Johnson, FosterGrant, and others.
I pride myself on being a patient, inspired, and motivating instructor who can (due to my many years of experience) bring mathematics to life in a manner that is at once meaningful, applicable, and thought-provoking to young minds.
