i am a professional art, Spanish, French teacher. I have been teaching in public and private schools for 10 years. I have been tutoring for 2 years.
I am Franco-American. I was taught in French schools by Canadian nuns, French was the main language of instruction. My grandparents were immigrants from Quebec. I only spoke to them in French. While I was teaching I took many refresher courses in Quebec.
I can also speak Spanish. I had 13 college courses in Spanish. Most of them were immersion courses in Mexico. One of them was at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. I lived in Mexico for a short time. I worked in one private school part-time teaching English and in another as a substitute.
My teaching style is pretty open ended. i.e.: I can gear the course to the students educational needs. It can be a fun course or very serious academics. I can also tailor the course to the student's interests, given ample time.
