I thoroughly enjoy assisting students of all ages with improving their writing and spelling skills. I am a published, professional writer who cares about the correct way to use the English language. I also have a strong interest in meeting new people and helping them succeed. I would love the opportunity to make your words shine on the page! I will work with you to keep your writing strong and in your own voice.

My experience includes working in the corporate world of Silicon Valley and Mid-coast Maine where I wrote and edited thousands of letters, proposals, and other business documents. Grammar and spelling is extremely important in the professional world! I am adept at writing anything from a resume and cover letter to ghost-writing memoirs.

I have also written, published, and successfully marketed a children's book. As a freelance-writer since 1997, my columns, feature stories, essays, and articles have appeared in L/A Magazine,The Lewiston Sun Journal, The Times-Record, The Coastal Journal, and Discover Maine Magazine.

Over the years, I have studied creative writing at the University of Southern Maine and attended numerous writing workshops and retreats. I also have experience facilitating writing workshops.
