After living in Germany for 15 years, my family moved to the United States in 2003. I went to high school for three years, and then attended Temple University, where I got my BA in History and German, and also completed coursework for a Minor in Mathematics. In 2011, I moved to Washington D.C. to get my MA in European History at American University.
Throughout my undergraduate and graduate studies I have tutored German and Mathematics, and I am eager to continue my work. My goal is to become a teacher, either at the High School or College level.
I believe that education and the process of educating are two-way streets, during which both parties learn and evolve constantly. Success, especially in tutoring, comes from building strong, personal relationships with each student, and getting to know one's student, and letting the student know the tutor, also builds trust, which is essential for a healthy learning environment.
I am eager to work with any student, and am confident that through hard work and dedication anyone can succeed in any subject or topic. I look forward to working with you, be it in Mathematics, German or History!!
