A wise man once said that those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it. As a student, this should be reinterpreted as those who do not pass history are doomed to repeat it.
My name is Jean Pierre, but I go by JP, and I am a recent graduate of Salisbury University where I majored in History. History and all classical studies teach us to be rounded students. Critical reading and comprehension are skills that are necessary in my field. Writing to inform and persuade is also necessary, not just for studying history, but in most fields. Solid reading abilities and good, sturdy writing skills will help you to improve many facets of your academic career.
My philosophy is to work with the student and monitor their progress in an educational structure that is designed to be much more engaging and personal than the classroom environment. Students who are able to work with me step by step will see improvements in their vocabulary, critical thinking, and grammar with the focus being the combination of these skills to improve their writing on the whole.
I have experience with elementary students but am suited for all grade levels.
