Every student is different in their learning styles. I love to help children to understand any subject they are having difficulty with. I have many stories of helping my younger cousins, siblings, and my niece needing help especially with Reading, and ideas for projects. I have high marks on subjects such as reading, science, geography, spelling, grammar, and vocabulary. I help to boost the confidence of the child in their ability to read and write. I use flash cards, memory games, visual aids, dry erase boards, and other fun tools to help aid in the students learning.

Vocabulary

Vocabulary goes hand-in-hand with spelling, grammar, reading, and writing. I can help students by making flash cards and memory games expand their vocabulary.

Grammar

Grammar is useful and needed tool for everyday life verbally or in written form. I can help the students to improve home their written form which will influence a better verbal delivery.

Reading

Reading is a needed tool for knowledge and growth. Reading helps students to explore new worlds in every literature they read. Every book is a new adventure and new world to explore.

Geography

Geography is a fun subject. It is filled with information about the universe, the earth, and the Country we live in. I can help the students to understand how a map is used and useful for everyday travel. Also by using visual aids such as tracking the places on a map.

Spelling

Spelling is an important tool used in all literature. This helps with grammar, reading and writing. I can help students to make spelling fun, and effortless. I use flash cards, a dry erase board, and have the students to spell out loud and write the word couples to hear and see the word. Sometimes singing the word can help too.

Elementary Science

Science can be a fun subject given the right tools. I like the details and explanation of why something exist. For instance doing experiments and proving the hypothesis to be a true or untrue statement is fun.

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
