As a student I sometimes found it hard to relate to material I didn't find interesting and sometimes I even found myself completely disengaging with the topic if I had a particularly terrible teacher. However, as I've learned to cultivate my own levels of academic patience over the years I've become wholly fulfilled with academics and academia. I'm a rising sophomore at Drexel University in Philadelphia where I am an English/Political Science double major and anthropology minor, anticipating to graduate in 2015 and join the JAG corps upon graduation. I have a strong passion for the English language and various other liberal arts subjects such as history and sociology.
I graduated high school from Albert Einstein High in 2011 where I earned my IB Diploma and scored top marks in IB English and History. Furthermore, I demonstrated proficiency in both of those content areas by scoring 4s and above on AP tests in those subjects. I've spent much of my time in college taking credits in education as well as volunteering at CADI (a credit recovery program for students who have dropped out of high school). My experiences in both of these aspects of my life have made me suitable to be a tutor. It is my earnest hope that I will be able to help you/your child find the academic success you're looking for, it really is possible.
