Hello - I possess over eight years of extensive experience teaching Chemistry, Physics, Algebra I & II, Pre-Calculus, Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, and all sections of the MCAT/ACT/SATs. All of my students earn A's and B's on their exams - many have risen their grades from D's to A's in a short period. I modulate my teaching strategy to best fit your child's individualized needs and make learning enjoyable. Further, I have CRLA Advanced level teaching certification from the University of Maryland from over 200 teaching hours, attending seminars, and giving presentations. In addition, I have Bachelors' Degrees in the Biological Sciences and Chemistry from U of Md - College Park along with a Master’s in Genetics & Cellular Biology. I genuinely enjoy teaching and find it very rewarding when the student understands the material.
I am currently an instructor for the Princeton Review and also teach students privately. I specialize in students with learning disabilities and have been VERY successful with helping them gain self confidence & mastery of the material. In fact, I have taught students with Dyslexia, Non-Verbal Learning Disability, Asperger's Syndrome, Cognitive & Processing Disorders just to name a few.
In regards to the MCAT, I scored a 38T and truly enjoy teaching students the material they need to share in the same success. In fact, I have taught over 50 students and ALL of which have earned 30's or above (with the highest being a 44Q!).
