I’m a Harvard graduate looking to tutor elementary, middle, and high school students. I graduated Cum Laude with a Magna Cum Laude thesis in historical sociology in 2007. I recently moved to the D.C. area with my wife who accepted a job offer here as an economist. Back in New York, where I'm from, I was a management consultant specializing in restructuring distressed, family owned businesses. Currently, I'm putting together my applications for a joint JD/MBA graduate degree and am looking to tutor as a way to supplement our income.
My academic expertise is very broad, but I specialize in all levels of math, from elementary school arithmetic to college level multivariable calculus, (and everything in between). I also have a passion for English and all types of writing, creative, persuasive, and expository (which is a particular strength of mine). In addition to teaching school subjects, I'd also be open to corporate training programs, particularly with Microsoft Excel, in which I am an expert.
As I am currently studying for my own entrance exams, I have a very flexible schedule and can begin immediately.
For parents seeking writing tutoring for their children, I can also present writing samples for your review upon request.
