If you are looking for a tutor who is patient and easy to work with it, then you have found the right tutor! I come with an Elementary Teaching Education background and currently work with persons with disability(s) in a university setting as an Assistive Technology Specialist for the Disability Office. At this job I provide technology services for persons with disability, which includes education and training. In addition, I provide presentations and support for the University to ensure everyone and anyone with a disability provides equal access.
When teaching I like to show the big picture through images and concept when helping students to learn. I like to encourage them to explore their potential through motivation and reasons to be successful. Using models to showcase what they are learning connects with what is expected of them in the real world. In addition, be able to teach and re-teach (if necessary) until the concept is clear and understanding. If possible, using technology to assist with the learning can be a powerful tool, especially in today's education community. Of course, the old way can also be effective as well, as long as it it does not slow down the learning process.
All in all, for this service I want to make a difference in the lives of students to be excel and be successful, for others have done the same for me. Or in other words, I want to give back. So, if you are looking for a teacher/mentor please reach out to me and let us have a conversation and see how it does from there.
