I have a Master's degree in Architecture from Cal-Poly Pomona and concentrated in sustainable design. I became very proficient using a set of software through my education such as Revit, SketchUp, and the Adobe Creative Suite especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
This work in architecture follows an education in the studio arts where I focused on painting, drawing, and sculpture, as well as an even earlier liberal arts education including several languages, political science, and history.
I believe that every student has a special method for learning that just needs to be discovered. While training drivers at the University of Maryland's transit system, Shuttle-UM, I encountered many unique struggles and challenges that the trainees would encounter. Patience and diligence are stalwart characteristics of a great teacher and I never give up if there's a problem to solve. Some students learn through dictation, many others need visual tools or just positive reinforcement. Whichever one you or your child may be, I can adapt to your needs and do it with a smile.
