Jane's experience in photography began back in high school, where she took her first black and white photography class. She went on to study photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Imaging and Photographic Technology.
After college, she accepted a position as a Photo Documentation Specialist at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. Her diverse experiences at NASA included scientific documentation as well as photography for public relations, special events, and executive portraits. During her eight years at NASA, she had the opportunity to mentor and train several employees in Adobe Photoshop and studio photography.
More recently, Jane began a new type of photographic documentation, that of children and families. She is passionate about creating unique, relaxed and meaningful portraits and now has her own business specializing in professional creative portraits.
As a "people person", Jane enjoys teaching both digital and traditional photography, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom. Her passion and enthusiasm for photography really rubs off on her students, making the whole experience fun and exciting!
