My first experienced with standardized testing was the SSAT. I went to a small college prep school in Connecticut. I did exceptionally well on the entrance exam - 1012/1050. My tutoring experience began in high school while tutoring the Spanish language. I was a very motivated high school student and took several AP classes. I received 4's in AP Calculus AB, AP US History, and AP Literature. I received 5's in AP Biology and AP Spanish. My SAT scores were above average - over 2000 for sure, but I don't remember exactly. My strongest SAT subject was Math. I took SAT subject tests in Bio, Literature, and Spanish. I attended Johns Hopkins University for undergraduate and am preparing for my MCAT/Medical school application process. Most of my coursework at Johns Hopkins was science-related - I have some experience with sociology as well as I majored in Public Health Studies. I have taken all pre-med required courses - English, Bio, Physics, Chem, Organic Chem, Biochem, and associated labs. I am strongest in biology, especially human anatomy and physiology. I currently work as a paramedic and have a great deal of experience in health professions. I am also studying to get my RN currently. Any nursing students out there/paramedic students who would need help would be welcome students. My medical training includes a wide scope of advanced procedures and if you are curious if I have the knowledge needed to help you, do not hesitate to ask.
I'm a patient instructor and believe that practicing and applying the concepts is the best way to learn. I am a huge proponent of practice problems and working out problems as the best way to learn. I am very dedicated to teaching and find great satisfaction in helping others succeed.
