Presently, I am a fourth grade team leader in the Montgomery County Public School System. The school I work at is a federal Title 1 school that serves mainly students from a low, socio-economic status and many language barriers. I have been a teacher at this school for the past four years. During these years, I have equipped myself with the Montgomery County curriculum of second, third, and fourth grade. All of my classrooms have also included students with either full Individualized Educational Plans or 504 plans. I have also learned to be able to differentiate instruction within my classroom in order to meet the individual needs of my students.
