I am motivated by the ability to see others understand aspects in life better. This takes hard work and dedication in order to ensure success on both ends. I have a strong passion for incorporating sign language in theatre, which is evident through my work as an Assistant Director for a RIT/NTID performance and ASL translation team member for my former church's high school play. I also truly enjoyed the positive impacts I made on students while teaching 2 semesters of pre-calculus/calculus recitation sections and tutoring mathematics online for over 2 years. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
