My name is Alpha, and I am the tutor you are looking for.
I am a graduate of Morgan State University with a degree in Political Science. I graduated Magna Cum Laude and received multiple awards (honors scholarship, outstanding student of the year, outstanding leadership…) in my department. I excel in the social sciences (American Government, World History, Social Studies…).
As a student, I tutored kids in elementary, middle and high school through a program we have at Morgan State. However, I work with all ages including college students, or if you just want to brush up on some subjects. In addition, for the past 6 years I have taught multiple individuals leadership and personal development.
My tutoring style is very flexible and personable. I like to find out my tutee’s favored method of learning and what he/she want to accomplish. At the same time, I like to know what gets him/her motivated and excited. Based on this information, I can put together a plan that is geared for that individual's success.
