Experienced Tutor with PhD in Bioorganic Chemistry

I have been teaching for about five years in all chemistry subjects: Organic, Inorganic, Analytical, and Physical chemistry. I have also thought Physics and Math. My teaching experience ranges from a 200-student classroom to one-to-one tutoring. I am a certified teacher who has passed graduate level courses for teaching sciences and was selected as the distinguished teaching assistant of my school during my PhD studies, 2 years ago.

Chemistry

I have PhD in Chemistry and have been teaching it for about a decade! I enjoy explaining chemistry to students and try everything make sense to them vs. encouraging them "memorize" things! I believe everything in chemistry does make sense and if students get a real grasp of chemical concepts, nobody will be against chemistry!

MCAT

I have been teaching MCAT for three years to individual students and I have taken Dental Admission Test (DAT) myself with the averaged percentile of 85%!

Organic Chemistry

I have been teaching Organic Chemistry for more than five years since my senior year. I am a 5th year PhD student at the Johns Hopkins University and my thesis is specialized on the Organic chemistry. I enjoy working with and thinking about organic reactions.

Pharmacology

I am studying PhD in bioorganic chemistry and my thesis is focused on the development of new anticancer drugs that can kill cancerous DNA. I have taken medicinal chemistry courses and am familiar with the all three phases of drug development. What I am interested in most is the first phase that includes studying pharmacology and pharmacokinetics of drug candidates.
