Hello! I am a certified math teacher and I have been tutoring or teaching for the past 8 plus years. Algebra 1

I have years of experience as an Algebra teacher with both 8th and 9th grade students.

Prealgebra

In my experience teaching Algebra, I have often taught and tutored Pre-Algebra subjects as Algebra remediation.

ADD/ADHD

I taught for three years in inclusion classrooms as a general education teacher in a co-teaching model. Both the special education teacher and I worked with all the students in the classroom. Each year, I taught at least five students with an ADD or ADHD classification.

Praxis

In order to become a certified math teacher in Washington, DC I took several math related Praxis II exams as well as the Praxis I exam. I also took the Elementary Education: Content Knowledge Praxis exam. I received an ETS Recognition of Excellence on both the Mathematics: Content Knowledge and Elementary Education: Content Knowledge exams. I received well above the passing threshold for Washington, DC on all exams.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
