My name is Asong, and I am a student at University of Maryland Baltimore County. I am studying for a combined degree in computer engineering and mathematics. I have in depth knowledge on calculus and algebra. I have helped a lot of students not only with math problems, but to understand why we study math and how it can be applied day to day in our lives. Mathematics has been a part and parcel of me since I was young. I was being inspired by my mother(a math teacher). I have indeed applied the principles of science and mathematics to developing economical solutions to technical problems in my school research.

I have accomplished with impressive record in focusing on problems/challenges that result in new "state of the art" products that integrate computer capabilities. This has resulted in my winning a math tournament in Prince George's Community College. I have an addiction to solving problems with different alternatives. I have been a math tutor at PG Community College for 2 and half years. I have worked with students in groups and individual and it makes me feel so happy that I can make a difference in people's lives. I believe with my 6 years of experience in core competence in math, I can be a good tutor and mentor to others.
