I have been a clarinetist for seventeen years, and hold a bachelor of music in clarinet performance from the University of the Pacific. I currently have a private clarinet studio in the greater Washington D.C. area, and work as a graduate assistant in the School of Music at the University of Maryland where I am pursuing a masters degree in clarinet performance.
I have been teaching clarinet privately for seven years to students of all ages and levels. I have prepared students for high school music ensembles, honor bands, competitions, college auditions, and many other personal music goals. I have worked with the Stockton Symphony as a music teacher, the Central Valley Youth Symphony as a woodwinds coach, and Redwood High School Music Department as a woodwinds coach. I also have worked for eight years as a general music tutor for all levels of music theory, music history, and ear training.
