I am a certified Biology teacher with 13 years of experience teaching at the high school level. During that time, I have taught Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Biotechnology, and Environmental Science classes. Prior to and in addition to my classroom teaching experience, I have worked as a tutor for seven years. I have experience tutoring middle school, high school, and adult students in Biology, Basic Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, Geometry, and SAT Preparation. Biology

I am in my fourteenth year of teaching Biology at the high school level, and have worked with students of various abilities. I have primarily taught general Biology and honors Anatomy and Physiology.

ADD/ADHD

I hold Maryland certification in Special Education for all age levels. I have taught for 7 years in a high school for students with learning disabilities, many of whom have ADHD.

Dyslexia

I hold Maryland state certification in Special Education for students of all ages. In addition, for the past seven years I have taught in a school for students with language-based learning disabilities (including dyslexia).

Genetics

I hold Maryland state certification in Biology and have taught high school Biology (including Genetics) for 13 years. I completed graduate level coursework toward a Ph.D. in Genetics, and have also taught a summer Biotechnology course for gifted middle and high school students.

Praxis

I have taken and passed the Praxis exams with high scores.

The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
