I studied French for 4 years in high school before going on to receive my bachelor's degree in French Education from the University of Delaware. During my time in college, I spent one semester studying in Paris, France and one semester focusing on French Phonetics. After completing a semester of student teaching, I went to Martinique to teach English for 6 months. I am currently certified to teach French in the states of Delaware and Pennsylvania.
I began studying German in my first semester of college and immediately decided to become a double major of French and German. During my studies, I did a winter session abroad in Bayreuth Germany and an international Summer program in Fulda, Germany. In May of 2011, I received my Master's in German Literature and am currently taking a course on the teaching of German as a Foreign Language in Tübingen, Germany. I am certified to teach German in the state of Pennsylvania.
